Preparing for your Virtual Rabbit Tour

A Virtual Rabbit Tour is a great way to showcase your business or property, and enhance your website! We want you to take full advantage of how our tours can help create more business for you or help sell your real estate listing. So it is important for you to do your part to get ready for the photo shoot.

To get the optimal Virtual Rabbit Tour result, you will want your location to look its very best. It may need cleaning, de-cluttering, staging, or redesign before the photographer's visit. While we are a full service Virtual Tour company when it comes to creating the actual tour, we don't currently have services that encompass the preparation end of things. This is up to you. But we can offer some assistance, suggestions, and referrals.

Important! When the photographer shows up for photo shoot, the scenes need to be ready. He or she is not being paid to help with preparation, nor to wait while last minute preparations are made. The photographer is not going to move furniture, clean or dust, or pick up clutter or trash. So please be on time with your preparations. If you are not ready on time and we have to reschedule the photographer, we will charge a $25 rescheduling fee.

Choosing Scenes

The Virtual Rabbit Tour includes TEN 360° panoramic scenes. Your first job is to look through your location to decide where you would like your scenes to be. Normally we include a couple of external scenes as well, such as the front and rear of your building, a scene of the street, or even one of the neighborhood or nearby landmark.

Inside, choose places that you would like to feature in rooms that you would like to feature. Look for spots that you could envision a tripod easily swivelling to catch the scene with a full 360o turn. This could even be a small area, like a bathroom, because we use super wide angle lenses that can even capture small rooms. Also, include a scene or two of a lobby, foyer, or hallway that you could use to put room connector hot spots on to enhance the connections in your tour.

If you need help choosing scenes, our Virtual Rabbit Tour Consultant will be happy to do a walkthrough with you to help compose the scenes in your tour. If you decide you would like more than 10 scenes in your tour, we can arrange that also.

Cleaning, Staging and Redesign

Once you have chosen your scenes, it is time to get the place ready for the shoot.

Some of our clients are already close to being ready, because clean and tidy is business as usual, or because it is a real estate listing is already on the market and prepped for open houses and the like. If so, a few finishing touches may be all it needs. If more work needs to be done, and you do not have the time or inclination to do it, for a reasonable fee we can stage it for you. Most of our clients prefer to clean and stage themselves.
